Voctech Ignite & The Live Music Industry

We are very happy to share that we’ve been selected to be a part of the Voctech Ignite Programme.

The UFI VocTech Trust supports the delivery of adult vocational skills through digital technology. The Ignite programme offers mentoring to selected organisations engaged in innovative training projects.

During our time on the programme, we will be exploring how video games can be used as vocational training tools in the live music industry.

Live music employment dropped by 35% during the pandemic (UK Music). As the sector rebuilds, it is essential to look for innovative ways to bring new talent into the sector.

Through the medium of video games, can we mirror an applied learning environment and support the development of the knowledge, confidence, and problem-solving skills required to work in the industry?
